I've been part of a flight team over at freebirds for some time now. All I can say is that formation flying is HARD!

I'll look into a team here soon but these things require massive committment and practice over at least 6 months.

It seems impossible at first but it is. i joined a flight team for lock on as I wanted to see what it was all about and it is hard work. In fact the first time you try you think it is impossible but the more you practice, the more competent you get.

Note that none of these guys are using altitude hold or speed hold as neither of these work. It's all about adjustment, ALL the time. Throttle up, throttle back, attitude correct here, attitude correction there.

Give it 6 months and you'll be able to do that too. Only thing is, you'll have no life. The whole thing is a massive committment, something I couldn't stick to unfortunately. Good fun though!
