Lag Problem

For some reason I can't play with you guys

I tried earlier with Gambit and StyrofoamBullet but I kept lagging out. I can't figure out what it is, I've forwarded my port 6118 for Sins of a Solar Empire, or so I thought with my Apple Wireless). I can't figure it out. I have a fine ping when it comes to FPSs like Team Fortress 2, but for some reason peer to peer RTS games kill me with lag. I've had similar problems with Warcraft 3 but not this bad

Any suggestions? It gets worse as time goes on
