Sins 1.1 beta out!
The 1.1 beta update is out on impulse
NOTE: not the impulse in your game directory, but the downloadable one
Oh joy?Version 1.1 not only includes a host of play balancing changes but new content such as an updated graphics engine, updated visuals, new damage animations, and more. It also includes a new multiplayer system called "Alloy" which eliminates the need for configuring routers or changing port numbers.

BWAAGH! AUTOMATED PROGRAM UPDATES!
Anyway, you need to download and install Impulse, linky in your Email with the Sins mail.
Next login with you stardock account.
Then you need to wait for the AUTOMATED PROGRAM UPDATES!!! to finish.
Once your AUTOMATED PROGRAM UPDATS are finished you clicky the updates tab and click sins, then update from the lower right corner.
If you cant see the sins icon in the updates tab, you need to update your registry. That is the tiny button under the minimize icon.

I just managed to get the beta patch installed yesterday.
Took me about 2 days and 5 tries. Can't wait until I switch back to wired connectivity. Hoping I can host as well with this new patch.

I gave up on Impulse, someone ate the chips from the plate. I really wanted Alloy.
