This gives you the ability to appear as a terrorist, civilian, SWAT, Special Forces or heavy-duty soldier. Because there is so much area and so many places for snipers to hide, the developers decided to limit their effectiveness while simultaneously reducing the threat of the all-mighty online coward: the camper. A great bonus of the ADS is that it'll keep campers from feeling safe in an otherwise indestructible building. Additionally, the game creates a "fear effect." Simply find a sniper's location and start laying down a mass of cover fire; this causes the "fear effect," which in essence makes him shake so violently that he can't site a target through his scope! Ingenious! Furthermore, it will be impossible to execute a "one shot-one kill," forcing snipers to hit a target at least twice to kill them. While it does detract from "reality" a bit, it evens out the playing field better than any tactic to date.
