"You can pick your hat or helmet, face, jacket, trousers, boots and add-ons from a huge list. This gives you the ability to appear as a terrorist, civilian, SWAT, Special Forces or heavy-duty soldier. On top of that you can change your camouflage and add team logos to personalize your vehicles. Backpacks, tattoos, sunglasses, kneepads and other stuff all add to the look as well."
So the 1st 2 hours will be choosing what you want to look like eh? cool!

Gimme, gimme, gimme!!

Because there is so much area and so many places for snipers to hide, the developers decided to limit their effectiveness while simultaneously reducing the threat of the all-mighty online coward: the camper. A great bonus of the ADS is that it'll keep campers from feeling safe in an otherwise indestructible building. Additionally, the game creates a "fear effect." Simply find a sniper's location and start laying down a mass of cover fire; this causes the "fear effect," which in essence makes him shake so violently that he can't site a target through his scope! Ingenious! Furthermore, it will be impossible to execute a "one shot-one kill," forcing snipers to hit a target at least twice to kill them. While it does detract from "reality" a bit, it evens out the playing field better than any tactic to date.

This one's not true, and it's been discussed to death in the soldner forums. The server settings can be adjusted to allow one-shot kills.

I like the "fear factor" tho... sounds like it would help even up the support/sniper classes a little...

This is going to be a great game...

Re: Soldner - Multiplayer Preview

Hmm, not sure if things have changed since, but according to this site, Soldner will NOT have a multi-player feature when it first comes out--we will graciously be allowed to buy an add-on for multi-player at a later date. Here we go again.....

Re: Soldner - Multiplayer Preview

The response in the interview said there will not be co-op multiplayer in the initial release so I assume regular multiplayer will be available.
