i dont have the original homeworld anymore but it was a great game. Is anyone planing on getting homeworld 2? it won lots of awards at e3.

How differenct is it from FreeLancer?

Very different.... The are two compleatly different kind of games. Ones more of a charicter development and the other is a real time startagy. The only thing they have in common is that they both take place in space.

Mmmm... sounds like a good game to have for those rainy days. Is it best enjoyed as single player (even tho I'm sure it has MP)?

yes has both, and the player v computer also deathmatch
