Re: Rome: Total War
I'm not new to strategy games but a very casual player. I know the game is a few years old but given the reviews I've read here and elsewhere R:TW is a must play. Plus it's only $20 now.
What's the learning curve? Easy enough for the casual player?|TG-9th| TheFatKidDeath

Re: Rome: Total War
Definitely a quality game. If you pick it up I recommend checking out Rome Total Realism. It will make the game a bit tougher but will also improve the gameplay, the AI, and the graphics as well as create a much deeper game. Its honestly how the game should have originally been made.

Re: Rome: Total War
Rome was great, but Its now replaced by Medieval 2: total war,I've been playing that a bit, however its much more system demanding than rome, being much newer now. Both are great games.

Re: Rome: Total War
Good ol' Rome Total War. I used to very addicted to that game until Medivel Total War 2 and COH came out
.

The hungry, ignorant man immediately grasps that he is handed a fish, but is bewildered when handed a net. The man who shivers in the cold thinks happily of the man who invites him to sit by his fire, and somewhat poorly of the man who loans him an axe, flint and steel.
