Well i saw a majority of the trailers available on the gpg site.
Has anyone had any experience with some actual gametime?

I am really, really close to breaking down and just buying the game.

It looks awesome to me too, but it's been plagued with networking problems and it's essentially a multiplayer-only game. Things like, people unable to connect to each other, dropping from matches, unbearable lag, etc... I understand they are slowly resolving them, but I think I'm going to wait til this one is in the bargain bin before investing.

Aside from the network issues, all I've heard is good things from people I know who have it.

You know I will report back this weekend.
I just bought the game at my local brick and mortar walmart.
For the price of $30 which is $10 less than impulse or any online store "I" found.

Aaaaand, the demo just went up today (fileplanet).. bwahahahahah to people who just bought it.
Me try b4 buy.

Anyways, from what I've heard the graphics are beautiful... BUT, the gameplay doesnt hold up against a game like League of Legends or DoTA.

Tried it... didnt like it. (gameplay too slow for an RTS and maps and mechanics are too dull)
LoL is better. (it's a beta though)
LoL will also be free with microtrans.
Demigod needs to be free.

If any of you played DOTA and loved it look into a game called Hero's of Newerth. It is DOTA made into its own game which is what Demigod tried to do. But Hero's of Newerth stays a lot closer to DOTA then demigod does. Unfortunately though HoN is still in closed beta but keep your eyes open for the open beta in the coming months.
