What's really troubling are the number of 'lame duck' companies popping up. There are quite a few appearing in the 3-3.99 skill set of manufacturing right now.

By lame duck, I mean jobs offering high wages, but not having any of the resources to pay the large number of people they hire. In short, companies that lock people into dead end jobs without any pay.

I'm lucky in the regard that my 2 skill job was picked up at 5.47 USD/day and hasn't changed now that I'm 3.5. Either my employer is really generous or just doesn't know how/have the heart to cut wages.

If you have a decent job check out the lame duck company before quitting. Check to see if anyone has worked in the past couple days and also keep in mind if it seems to good to be true it probably is.

Now if your out of work and looking for a job just start at the top and work your way down. If it's a lame duck then you just resign and go to the next one. Companies with either no money to pay or raw materials to work with can be resigned without the 3 day waiting period.

Got to complete 100 wellness for the first time today via training war. Level 11 now. Stuff's going pretty well. Still only a Private though, haven't fought as much as I'd like as I keep missing battles.

14 gold for a Q3 house is cheap. With only Q1 food I (in theory) get back 4 points of wellness every night. With that I can stay at 100 wellness all the time and it gives me the ability to fight an extra fight every couple days since I am gaining back more wellness than losing every day.

Try to get into the army guys, im in the mobile infantry and it really spices up the game a lot. The free guns and being able to mass-attack with people is really amazing (Like the end of the Manitoba battle)

I would apply while your still in Greece. Sometimes they will let you stay over there to work for iron (Mobile Infantry does this, but im not sure if they are letting people stay in greece still), also the application process takes a while so keep making the big bucks while you wait.
