Hey everyone! I've been thinking about starting up in this game, it looks like a fun game to play in-between studying. I'm just wondering how I should start. I remember reading this thread a while ago and people were being very specific on which region you joined, but I think at that time a lot of US territory had been conquered. What do you think?

Start in California. It has a quality 5 hospital so you won't have to move later.

The decline of eUSA has been mostly stopped and right now we're having a pissing match between the two big alliances in the game.

PEACE (could be pretty much summed up as anti-American I suppose) and EDEN/Broliance. EDEN being the 'don't give a damn about Americans' and Broliance being the 'pro-American' group (which is only eUS and eCanada anyways).

Now with the focus away from eUSA (we have FAR too many mutual protection pacts with other countries to make attacks on us successful in a stand out fight) PEACE is trying to cut away our allies by taking over and subjugating their countries. Just fought off an invasion of eCroatia and now we're liberating eFinland.

Argh I can't wait to be able to participate in combat. Washington is under attack at the moment as well from Russia, at least last time I checked. It annoys me that I can't help with the war efforts yet.

eRussia has been repelled from Washington and now its time to kick them out of Alaska. Still curious if we're going to push into eJapan and turn it into an eUS colony to attack eRussia from though. There was speculation on that front and to close the eRussia-eUS gateway by giving Alaska to eCanada so they can make their own attacks on eRussia while we strike from bases in eJapan.

Actually in my first battle, which was in Lapland fighting alongside Finland, I did 25 damage since I bought a Q1 weapon.

Damn, can't edit my original post. If any mods want to edit and say to start in these areas:

USA: California or Florida
Canada: Quebec or Ontario or Alberta
Britain: USA or Canada (Don't go to the UK, they are backstabbers and whine about everything! Trust me)
