Interesting. There have been a ton of casual games on facebook, some better than others, but I haven't seen an attempt to put a serious game on there. I'll be interested to see how it turns out, but hopefully it retains many of the strategy elements of civilization without succumbing to the monotony of level gaining that many facebook games go for (because then they can sell shortcuts for money).
