HoN has an Open Registration for the beta for the next 28 hours. Not sure if the account will be active for the remainder for the beta, but at the very least it will allow you to try the game.
Open beta is also coming soon, so I imagine they will stay active. Game won't be retail until at least March, so lots of time to play still!
