It (demo server) wasn't showing up in ASE for me but I had it showing in the game browser. Had a game with flux and Asch tonight.

I had jumped on around 8pm and a few ppl jumped on the demo server asking if we were going to be playing.... unfortunately we could only get a 3v3 game going.

Damn I should have signed back on. I ended up going to sleep not long after playing earlier that night. Having to be at work at 5am kind of throwes a wrench into making any plans. Hopefully next week I'll be able to stick around.

Also whats the deal with a bunch of people playing with no names now. Is it so they can't be kicked. I was playing on one of the east servers before signing on the TG server last night and five people were running around with no names.

The no names might be for immunity to kicking. I don't see any other reason to not have a name.
It would have been nice to have you for the game I played. The player I had wasn't very good at attacking and I had the bug where it uses all your items on spawn.

Yeah, the no names are 1) to make it harder to be kicked, 2) not show up in the team list so the team doesn't look stacked and 3) not be able to easily see their name (or level) during battle.
I really hope they get some admin controls in the 1.03. That's one thing I have checked on during beta testing... and I'm afraid they aren't in there.

Admin controls would be very nice. Using the console to kick players is quite a hassle.

Are there actual admin console controls to kick someone or are you using the voting options to kick someone?

It's done in the console. I'm not sure if there's another method. It's just that using the console requires the password for every command executed.

If anyone is playing tonight I should be on by 10-1030. If no one is on either of the Savage servers I'll be playing DC.

I'll try to get on around then. I might be sleeping though. I caught a cold and feel lousy. I'm hoping for some retail games!

When I signed on there were a couple of people in the demo server. I didn't recognize any of them from previous weeks so I went and played some desert combat.
I more than likely will have Monday night off next week, in my manager's ploy to not let me have New Year's Eve and Day off, so I might see everyone next week.
Hope everyone has a safe & happy holidays.

Are we going to be playing Savage tonight or DC?

Ooooo... very tough choice!
I'll play a bit of Savage and see if we can get some players here.
