RA1 still has the old school style of C&C. If you want something a little more modern, go for RA2.

but from what i've read, the soviet dreadnaught and umm...that blimp bomber can be quite devastating...how can the allies beat those kind of stuff.....(if the air craft carrier is a solution, tell me more about it)

You should check out Wal-Mart. They should have the C&C Collection. It includes Tiberian Sun + Expansion, Renegade, RA2 + Expansion for like $15. It's just too bad that it doesn't include RA1 as well.

Re: c&c:red alert 1 or 2?

I don't think RA1 had a serial. I don't remember with RA2. The C&C Collection is so cheap though that it's worth paying $15 for all those games and you get it faster. It might even be cheaper because I saw it for $15 CAD. It might be $10 US for all I know.

Re: c&c:red alert 1 or 2?

I loved RA1 and got really into it but was disapointed with all C&C games after that as they were just more of the same. Buy any one, love it, leave the series alone after that.
