World in Conflict is not based on WWII, or Sci-fi.
Second thing that excites me, it's not a sequel.
Biggest point for me, the multiplayer requires you to work as a team. Let's say some tacgamers are playing 3 vs 3. Each side will have a Armor general, and Air General, and a Infantry general. Each of the specific generals will be able to buy the units in his specialty cheaper, and have unique abilities to boot. This type of multiplayer gameplay is truly unique, and I am excited for this.

That multiplayer sounds very interesting. Other than that it sounds a lot like their last game (Ground Control 2) but I'll still be looking forward to it to see what they come up with.
