3) Support game play in a near-simulation environment. Where the focus of play would not be solely on doing what it takes to win, but doing so utilizing real-world combat strategy and tactics rather than leveraging exploits provided to players by the design of the game engine.

just tried it...meh...i dont think ill be gettin it...not really my cup of tea. While i was playin it i just kept thinkin, man id rather play CoH lol. Maybe the sci fi feel put me off. Not to say it isnt a good game cuz it is, its just not what i thought it was going to be. I guees i need more realism.

Ok, I have played several skirmish scenarios against the computer on medium.
LOL i got owned and bad! I can't see myself playing the singeplayer as of yet. Though if the Multiplayer will be anything similar to the skirmish mode. Then I have to say that TA is exactly what I was looking for in a game. Strategic is the essence of this game.
