server grayed out.... Help?
Just thinking maybe someone here knows, or a visitor might know whats going on...
(copy/paste from a post on the official forums.)
I just got the administrative password to one of our dedicated SWAT4 servers, it lets me into the administration windows/options but everyone of them is grayed out, so I can't change anything... does anyone know why this is happening, and what I need to do to correct it... thanks in advance.

Yeah, that happened to me before. It's a dual level thing: entering the password gives you access to that screen, but you have to enable the options.
Somewhere on that page is the ability to enable all the options, and reenter the password. I recall it's on the right somewhere, but it has been a while.

Re: server grayed out.... Help?
I wish I could help you right now Mag, but my server is offline for awhile, companies over and my router only has 4 ports, and they have dibs on the servers, lol.
I have to upgrade to one of the D-Link DGL-4300 Wireless Gaming Routers, my Linksys BEFSR41 V2 is so yesterday. That way all my main comps will be wired to a 1 gig router and guests can use the wi fi access.
I am going to see what I can figure out with what I got.

Re: server grayed out.... Help?
It almost sounds like the admin password being input is not correct, and you are not actually logged in as admin.
From the main interface if I try click into the server settings without logging in as admin I get pages that look like this,
http://home.comcast.net/~symtan/serv...snotlogged.htm
And the advanced window like this,
http://home.comcast.net/~symtan/serv...tloggedadv.htm
Now if I log in as admin those greyed out areas are accesable,
http://home.comcast.net/~symtan/adminlogin.htm
Notice that once I am logged in the bottom left corner tab changes from "admin log" in to "start game".
http://home.comcast.net/~symtan/loggedin.htm
Please Mag don't be offended if I am stating obvious things that you have already gone through, I am just trying to go through the numbers and see if we can overcome this.
