    Clone Credits do NOT transfer

Just a heads up, but I just found out the hard way that clone credits don't transfer from character to character on your account.

Meaning, the character you would like to clone again in the future is the one you need to do the zone specific quests with.

So if you have are using a Ranger to complete the quests and thought you could use the clone credit on your Medic, you are SOL.

Personally, I feel that the credit should apply to your account as a whole, but ah well. Same carrot, different stick.

    Good info mate.

I didn't realize this, and was going to skip all the target of opportunity quests on my medic and just bust them out with my ranger - and use the clone credits with my medic . Wishful thinking I guess.

    Saved me a headache.

Is there a "respec" option? say at the end game you decide you spent points on bad skills, get a refund and spend them properly...maybe re-allocate spent attribute points?

Glad I could help, Meddler. I had a similar plan, but now I have to re-think things. It would be nice if you could transfer the clone credit via the footlocker, but that's not an option either.

No respec option in game at the moment. I'm sure with all the class tweaking that is still to come that it will be in the future, but for now, your clones are your only option for a skill respec.

Just remember, your attribute points don't change from clone to clone, only your skills reset. So if you dumped a ton into Body and don't need as much on your new character, you are kind of stuck with what you have. Don't get me wrong, I love the clone idea, I just think they outsmarted themselves in some regards. Back in early beta, you could clone your character at almost any time, but then they changed that as we got closer to release.

Ah well, such is the life of an MMO.

True that, its a nice option tbh. The grind is what has always turned players off in the long haul.

Making clone options, and the ability to earn new cloness, is a nice option. I'll have to get my arse back to the Wilderness and finish up the ToO so I can get that extra clone for when I get to rank 4.

Re: Clone Credits do NOT transfer

All missions completed by the character to be cloned are also shown as complete to any clones made off of that character.

ToO's are a little different. As long as you don't complete the full series, the ToO is open to any clones you make from that character. One thing to keep in mind is that they have to do the WHOLE ToO again. Each part of a ToO isn't valued as an individual quest, so it's an all or nothing kind of deal. Which means that even if you only have one last mission to complete your ToO when you clone, the clone would have to meet all the requirements of the ToO again to get a new clone credit.

But once it's done, it is done for any successive clones made from the character that completed it.

In your case, your Commando will NOT be able to do the Wilderness ToO again unless he was made before your main completed it. If your main completed the Wilderness but not the Divide before he cloned, the clone could still do the Divide and any other ToO's down the road.

    Make sense?
