Thumbs up PvP Tactics and Strategies

Please put all of your general and TR-specific PvP tactics and strats in this thread. I'll be working on my own suggestions and posting them later.

For now, the most important thing I can say is work together and communicate... teamplay is key - even if you dont do well.

Good Luck!

Re: PvP Tactics and Strategies

What distinguishes a pvp target? Is there a particular marking that pronounces them as a target?

Re: PvP Tactics and Strategies

I seriously think we need to decide what TG's rules of engagement are going to be as we go forward into more Clan Wars.

Is it KOS at any time regardless of the situation? Do we harass lower level players? Do we engage when they are already engaged in NPC fights?

I realize that most guilds won't have any qualms about thrashing us whenever they see us, but I'm wondering if we're going to play by the same "anything goes" rules?

Or do we try and bring TG style rules into the final frontier?

Re: PvP Tactics and Strategies

I'm not sure about the team as a whole but my basic rules for PvPing for myself would be:

1. Won't attack lower than 5 lvls than myself.
2. Won't attack if engaged in a fight.
3. Won't attack if AFK timer is above their head.

I'm sure there might be some role playing elements (i.e. if your doing the "evil" quest lines you might want to re-think following basic guide lines of engagement) I will however attack if I see any red dot running towards myself and if they are in a fight reguardless of the situation and fire first, they are dead.

They show up on your mini map as a red dot with a black circle around them.

Also, they have a red crossed swords and shield above their heads. If you see anyone with a grey symbol above their character, it means they are PvP and at war with someone else.
