Possible Lag Fix
From the horses mouth. If you are using a router, make sure TCP ports 80, 2106, 7777, 7790, 8001 and 8101 to 8104 are opened within its settings. Updating your router's firmware to the latest version available on the manufacturer's website may also help.
p.s. Ive noticed a difference, being on the east cost playing on an east coast server I was getting 280+ ping, now its around 80 by doing this.

Re: Possible Lag Fix
Ahh, a list of ports. Always nice. Often hard to get. Thanks for the input.
Be careful with those firmware updates. :O Its a great idea though. Don't think i've touched mine for 2 years now.-Ryan (Sven)

Re: Possible Lag Fix
Do you have a link to where they said this? It's really odd that the game would need inbound ports mapped. I don't think I've ever seen a game that required that
