Armor
is it worth holding out for the bioarmor for a medic or should i invest in something else at earlier levels?

Re: Armor
For a Medic it may be useful to have both Hazmat and Bio armour. People like Hazmat because it has better armour then Bio along with more resistance (therefor you'll survive better). Bio is better for groups due to the health regen bonus. If you plan on only pumping Bio, then maybe just hold out for the armour you want.
This is all third hand knowledge though since I don't play Medic.

Re: Armor
I would say stick with Hazmat armor, in a group you can't really depend on regen all that much so it would be better to go with more armor and resistances. I've tried both and the Hazmat worked the best for me, if that says any thing. I do have a level 30 Medic so I've spent some time with it. Hope that helps a little.

Re: Armor
figures, but hazmat armor is so ugly. You gotta look good when fighting the bane I say.

Re: Armor
BioArmor is only worth it at high pumps, simply because the buff range is much too low at lower pumps. So it's kind of an all or nothing move.
The one thing BioArmor has over Hazmat is regeneration bonus. If you use cover and a lot of stick and move tactics (which u should as a specialist) then the BioArmor ends up being more valuable. It is definitely intended as a support armor, because if you DO stick your nose into battle most of the time you're spamming the repair tool instead of doling out dmg. On the flipside, you rarely need to spam the Heal tool with BioArmor.
Another thing with Hazmat is you've got to carry around a lot more of it (3 dmg. types right?) and learn to swap them out.
Perhaps 3 pumps in each maybe?

Re: Armor
Probably will do 3 and 3 if one of them seems better i'll just sacrifice some other skill to pump it.

Re: Armor
IMO motor assist is useful, but I wouldn't put points into it except for a spy where it's pretty much a requirement for pvp since getting close enough to use the sword is critical. Otherwise is kinda helpful for running around but not really worth the points when they'd be better spent pumping another skill

I'd have to agree, I still stand on having Hazmat armor, if you find the resistances that the armor lacks in modifying it with receipts you would be golden. Yea I know it's ugly as hell but I'm not to concerned with that.
