Welcome to my AO (Area of Operation) here at
Tactical Gamer.
Apophis was kind enough to give me this space for sharing many of my articles, stories, and lessons related to real world tactics and real world procedures, and how best to use them in the video games we play.
There are many resources out there for tactics and procedures, the simple purpose here is to break down the information and share them in a clear and easy way. These articles and post are always
work in progress, I will update them as needed or requested, and will be adding screens, pictures, and videos to better demostrate a tactic or procedure.
Please feel free to use and share this information as you see fit, and even edit or delete what you don't want for your own group, clan, or squad.
This information is also shared and used at
SimHQ.com and my personal web site
GetTacticalDammit.com.
Just FYI, I have been a member of
TG for a long time, and a supporting member for about 5 years. I was in the US Army as a Military Policeman for just over 10 years, and have been a civilian police officer just over 12 years, and counting. I am the real world tactics and officer safety instructor for my department, and use this knowledge and information in my writings, along with my gaming.
This information is for entertainment purposes only, the purpose is to teach or explain basic police and military tactics so you can get the most out of your video games that reward real world tactics and procedures. Not everything works the way the real world does in a video game, just remember that.
