I'm on both... lol... I consider it part of my "non-paying" job for SimHQ.

So there's no cross compatibility between PS3, Xbox360, and PC? I'll definitely get it on PS3, maybe on PC. I don't understand, if EA can get cross compatibility for the Orange Box why no other game can do so.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Released...
Does anyone know if there is a multiplayer demo? I liked the singleplayer demo a lot, but I'd like to see what the multiplayer is like before I make a decision on buying the game.

Mouse aiming is far superior to the analog joysticks. Only with a liberal use of autoaim (see: Halo) does FPS shooting with joysticks become tolerable.

Blah blah blah.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Released...
Again an arrogant statement. Maybe you prefer a mouse and joystick but that doesn't mean that a controller is useless for everyone.
I for one am pretty good with a controller. Saying something like that is like saying since you prefer the color blue, and since you do blue must be the color of choice. Green sucks and everyone better accept it.
I'm sorry but that's arrogance. And that doesn't answer my question as to whether consoles can play with PCs.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Released...
I've already proved it in Shadowrun, it's not being arrogant. I use to be good with a controller once too, when I played my Dreamcast back in the day, thing is with a controller you can only excel so much, with a mouse and keyboard you can keep getting better and better. Playing with a mouse is like real time, playing with a controller you've got to wait for the movement, while aiming down. Walking and shooting is OK, but aiming just drives me nuts.|TG-12th|Undead

I have the PC edition already. It's good, but haven't had time to play the MP portion.

Re: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Released...
I got both PC and 360 version... and loving it, but you people got to take it for what it is...
The SP in the Call of Duty series has always been about staring in a action movie, sure thats not what us "tactical minded" gamers want, but thats what it is, and if you except it as is, it's a GREAT action story... Believe me, once you play the open mission of the SP campaign, you will be blown away... incredible and intense...
now for MP, I prefer my 360 version, just so much easier to find a game especially with my friends list... unlocking rank, equipment etc ect...
I am not disappointed at all in CoD4, IW did a fantastic job with it, but again remember... the purpose of the SP is to star in a action movie, once you play through it once the SP is pretty much D O N E.
When I want tactical, I play GRAW2 or ArmA, when I want run and gun shoot em up action, I turn to CoD4... all serve a purpose.
just IMO.
and remember my test I posted about comparing the PC version of R6 Vegas vs the 360 version... I did better on the 360 version by average because theres a built in autoaim for console games, thou small... mouse and keyboard are more precise, and require the exact pixal... so two different birds, same purpose. I love em both for there own reason.
