The year is 2024, and the world is running out of oil. In what's called "the long emergency", the world economy has nearly completely collapsed. In a desperate attempt to save their crumbling societies, the newly formed Red Star Alliance, led by Russia and China, and the Western Coalition (U.S. & the European Union) have entered a war for control of the last remaining fossil-fuel resources.

Set 16 years in the future, Frontlines is a squad-based shooter featuring a high-tech array of realistic weapons, combat vehicles, and professional specializations, all drawn from today's real-world military prototypes. In addition to a unique new multi-player game format, Frontlines also includes a rich, cinematic, non-linear single-player campaign.

Frontlines: Fuel of War incorporates many mechanisms to encourage and facilitate teamwork: Squads of up to 5-players, native VOIP support, flexible Weapon Loadouts and Specialty Roles to allow a squad to handle a variety of objectives, vehicles that reward multiple-operators working together, etc. Due to be released at the end of February, Frontlines looks to be a perfect fit for the mature, team-first, vocal player-style for which TacticalGamer has become famous.
