That's right! The PCS admin team is pleased to announce the return of Counter-strike: Source Vanilla!

We will be reintegrating vanilla into our regular routine while still hosting the realism mods that have been so wildly entertaining. It is our feeling that we can host two different flavors of PCS and it will be a win-win situation for the players, the admins and the rest of the community. We hope to draw in players from outside TG and from other games here as well using different gameplay solutions.

Nothing else will change. We will still play in an objective-driven environment using team-oriented gameplay, and the SOPs are still in effect. The only noticeable difference will be the gameplay, including eliminating some things such as the weapon weights and bleedout function. Server 1 will continue to host the realism mods.

Starting Tuesday, March 25, we will be hosting CSS Vanilla on Server 2. Current and old players are encouraged to attend. This is your opportunity to play the game the way we originally played it long ago. The vanilla server will run through Thursday, March 27. This pattern will continue in the weeks to follow as we further incorporate Vanilla. If there is enough support, it is possible that this will become a mainstay here at Tactical Gamer.

Essentially, server 2 sits unused for most of the time. We will build population by offering both. Server 1 is going to remain the way it is and the way everyone is used to. We are making the changes to server 2 to accomodate both types of players. We have found that players want both.
