Re: ACE Online - Review & Introduction.

Last night I asked about a wiki for ACE Online in TS and was told to search up existing projects for Space Cowboy Online and its off-shoot constituents.
I think I've found one worthwhile at:

http://aircodex.org/Main/HomePage

It's for Air Rivalz but from what I can gather it and ACE Online are one and the same.
Some of the content is trapped behind a Login and Password. I'm not exactly sure where I can attain credentials to get in there and the site itself does not afford me any information to attaining said credentials.

The tutorial, while incredibly basic (i.e. Move your mouse right to bank right... thanks GINA e_e) it did give me the run around on combat and some of the more important maneuvers.

Re: ACE Online - Review & Introduction.

I used to play this game alot...maybe two years ago? i was a b-gear and man, i was pretty good for a B-gear.

-tips for people playing B-gears when dueling/pvp (doesn't apply to monster combat)

-against M-gears don't neccessarily try and follow them, they're way to fast, let them come back and hit them hard
-GET BOMMBBBBBBSSSSS, oh my, get bombs, you can hit people in the air with bombs if they are in a close radius, and it does loooots of damage
- in PVP pick a target and bomb them, multitarget never gets you any kills -_- (usually anyway)

i might get back into this, but i remember once you got to the main PVP area leveling was very hard and since you had to level in the PVP area, unless you team had the area, you wouldn't be levelin up.

Re: ACE Online - Review & Introduction.

Will definitely check out some Gameplay videos - love flying games, and the idea of doing so in an MMO world, squadding up with TGers as wingmen and dogfighting against other human groups sounds like a mouth-watering prospect. That description gives me a high expectation of this game, and if it can even just get half-way there, I'll be happy.

Ohhh... I played this a long time ago. I flew an I-gear although I didn't reach that high of a level. Looking forward to playing it again with you guys.

Re: ACE Online - Review & Introduction.

I am going to give this game a shot... Do you guys play with joysticks or is this just like flying a gunship in 2142 ? I have limited flying game experience.

Downloading right now, sounds pretty fun from what im reading here.

Flying is just simple, more like playing an FPS. Its fun though if you don't mind the grind. Drop by the ACE online sub-forums for more info about the game.

Downloaded and installed. Played until my eyes were bleeding (Level 10 now). How do I join the TG Brigade?
