Re: Battlefield Series Past & Future
FBMantis has got some hiking in the near future to break in those new boots.
Tempus looks like he can use some nice comfy loafers for a while.
Congratz to Tempus for such a long stint as a venue lead and well wishes to Mantis for his new role..

Re: Battlefield Series Past & Future
I was a BF 2142 TG player for a fair while, and if Tempus hadn't been putting those hour and all that hard work in from when BF2 came out those years back, I wouldn't ever have had half the fun with he game, or met all of these great people on TG, so thank you Tempus, for laying the foundations and building up this amazing BF experience for all us BF players over the last few years to enjoy.
And although I don't know much about Mantis, I've seen his occasional posts around the BF2142 forums and he seems like an extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful guy, and he has to be good to have beaten out all the great BF admins we have. You have my respect and best wishes for taking on such a challenging roll.Anger is a gift - Malcolm X

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Battlefield Series Past & Future
I've been away from BF2 (and TG) for a long time. Seeing this on the front page made me want to dig out BF2 and reinstall it. Congrats to Mantis, thanks to Tempus, and I'll see you on the server!
