Post TGU News

It has come down to that time once again where people move on and new ones step up and take their place. Smachin007 has served as dean of TGU since mid 2008. As we noted in a post here. I wanted to take a moment and thank Smachin for taking quite a bit of time to take TGU another step and bring it to more players of TG. Prior to Smaching steping in, The largest event we ran was the Infantry Basic on TeamSpeak for all players of TG. Afterward, Smachin with help of Aruncado and other awesome instructors ran the Holloween event that consisted of more students than ever. While it wasn't prefect, it showed us instructors better teaching tactics that we can employ in the future and make TGU better for you.

In current news, TGU has aggressively recruited in both PR and CoD4 and brought classes to both communities successfully. Currently we are still developing more classes for both platforms. We still have open recruitment for veteran players who wish to pass on knowledge to their peers. TMan has been an admin for BF2 since Oct of 2008. While short, he has made a standing in providing a safe server to play on by upholding our code and ethics to its highest degree of TG.

What that said, who do you now contact to become an instructor? Who do you ask about the future of TGU? O=T-M-A-N=O (Aka: TMan) has volunteered himself as the new Dean of TGU. TMan will have a bright future for TGU and take us one more step down the path of better tactics and maturity. He's been serving TG as a BF2 admin since Oct of 2008. While short, he has proven himself as an asset of TG and preserving our way of code and ethics. Now TMan will once again make himself an asset and take over TGU.

Thank you both smachin007 and O=T-M-A-N=O for your service to TGU.

Best of luck. Thank you for stepping in and helping to keep TGU going.

Now how about bugging daithi into teaching an advanced commander class for 2142

Re: TGU News

I would like to say this:

I rarely play PR.

One of these times, I logged on the server and I created a squad.

Soon after, TMAN comes in my squad with the will to show me the ropes and to provide me with some PR education.

He has abadoned all his personal fun, just to cater me, the PR noob!

Kudos for that and congrats for your new position.

TGU Educational Awesomeness FTW!
