I played AA2 for a long time, I even competed a few times. Id love to see this game in our community. I have some friends from an old clan that would be very interested in a tactical playstyle. If this becomes another game within the community I'll hop over on their TS and site and drop them a few lines. I'll probably go rent my own server here soon if we dont have one. Im pretty experianced with AA and was a server admin for a few years as well. By far one of the better games I've played and its free lol. Betas over and the game should be live today from what I've been reading.

Not really theres a planning phase for the missions now. To be honest there was a map in AA2 that was just a straight bridge with a tower on each end and one in the middle, it also had cat walks on the side, the rounds could last a good 10 minutes lol. But this is dependant on the size of the server and weapons being used.

Being a Sniper on "Bridge" Was definitely the best way to go

.

My personal favourite though was Pipeline, very quirky map lots of CQB. and always watching your back/checking your corners.

Oh yeah, I loved the M24 SWS. I love Pipe on TWL my old clan and I used to stomp the house on it lol. Or Farm Raid LOL, I was accused of having hacks with the SAW by another clan. I have to say though my all time favorite would be Urban Village or SF Hospital.

SF Hospital was definitely an A+ map. Extract the VIP

ahh man how many times I remember opening my eyes inthat hospital beat to crap with 1 magazine towards that hospital exit, running out into the smoke with rounds flying everywhere hahah.

The game actually looks awesome on the U3 engine, I'd say it will be much better than AA2, some of the features are impressive, and remind me of BF2 (which is a good thing

).

Note: Knowing Steam with the Killing Floor, and Darkest Hour mod releases AA3 could more than likely be delayed. They can never seem to have the game ready, they always pile everything into the last minute. Shame, but don't keep your hopes up.

Oh yeah and it took some teamwork to get the VIP to safety lol. Quick rounds though. Oh yeah Harpo its definately good looken. Im gonna hit up some AA2 now lol while I wait for the release, I lost my steam account info and deleted my email address which I used on it so I cant access my stuff I hope theres another way to get the game other than steam, I dont like dealing with them anyway.

If you haven't already, restart Steam and it will begin validating the files which could take about 10 minutes, maybe more. After that there will be a rather large update to download as well.
