Tactical Gamer has always striven to bring like-minded gamers together and provide a mature environment for these players to find teamwork and objective-based play. Players typically think of first person shooters when they hear Tactical Gamer, however we also support massively multi-player games. Throughout the years members have formed various Tactical Gamer guilds / corps in these MMOs. There has been little structure in this arena. But we're starting to change that!
We've recently created a new position here at
TG... the MMO Officer / Evangelist. While there hasn't been a need for administrators or even a game officer to manage servers, we've found that having someone at the helm to promote and assist players will be a benefit to our players. This officer isn't meant to determine how these guilds / corps should be run, rather the officer will assist players in forming and participating in
TG guilds / corps and ensuring that the principles and conduct policies are followed.
So let me take this moment to welcome Vulcan as the MMO Evangelist. He's been involved in various MMOs and
TG guilds/corps for several years now and understands some of the benefits and pitfalls of that players run into. We've also created a
Contact MMO Administration forum for players to contact the officer.
