Just wanted to give everyone an update:

TG is now 577. That's a pretty good gain. Thanks to all the new people who've decided to donate! Remember my wintertime tip - turn down the thermostat a few degrees and dedicate a computer to folding. Folding computers make great space heaters.

    Keep up the folding!

I have been a folder on Team 24 (OCAU) for a while now, and they're ranked 2nd or 3rd, but I feel I am more active in this community now, so why not. 2 PC's (Quad core (4 machine IDs so it runs on all cores) dedicated server (24/7 operation)) and my personal PC will be folding for TG.

I was doing this for quite some time for TG awhile back, and then the FAH program just flat quit working on my PC. I tried completely un-installed and re-installed several times, but couldn't get it working again.

I downloaded it again last night, installed and got it running again! It was working a unit all last night, so I'm not 100% sure if it will have problems loading the work back to the servers or not yet, but I'm hopeful that I can actually start contributing again.

Just joined the team. It sure can't hurt to donate some of my CPU power to a good cause, especially if I don't need it for anything else anyways .

Thanks to everyone for joining up, but we still need more!

If you know of anyone who leaves their computer on, persuade them to fold for TG or "help" them out by installing the console only client and setting it as a startup item.

Anyone else having trouble with FAH sending their work units to the servers the last few days?

Yes actually. I think it might have been a particular WU as I had some submitted yesterday for points, but all 3 of the clients on my main rig had the problem.

Mine started uploading again sometime today, or last night. I also finally got around to taking the time to notice that if I wanted to run both cores of my processor, I needed to set up dual instances of the console version of FAH. Duh! LOL. Could have been running double time all along. Oh well, got it set up now.

    Update:

The TG folding team is currently ranked at 572, but we lost 2 active members.

Remember you can fold on your PS3's!
