The main problem I see with this setting is MP. In WWII, the weapons were a lot more balanced. The way the war is faught in Afghanistan is totally different and I doubt they 'll find a way to make it enjoyable for both teams. PR has tried hard to create some kind of balance, but I hardly enjoy playing as an insurgent. If the game is played with advanced tactics, it tends to get VERY boring for the insurgents/taliban.

EA must of been watching the Military channel when they thought up this Idea.I saw that same exact guy on TV,they grew beards to blend in with the population a bit more and to seem like less of a threat.

Their idea of a single player campaign that tells the story of a soldier better not be anything CLOSE to MW2's craptasticly short singleplayer. As for WWII games, it really doesn't matter what era they make it from, but more along the lines of whether the game is good (compared to the best games) in a saturated FPS market these days.

Gill, you won't catch me disparaging anyone's service in those AO's. I will always tip my hat to those that serve or have served in those Godforsaken areas. Thank you!

The beards are a cultural thing. Beards in Afghanistan in particular are a sign of manhood. SF growing beards isn't to seem less threatening, but more to show that they're to be taken seriously.

All I hope for is for a good Campaign. Better and more realistic than CoD

What I would love to see is another Rainbow Six, with the updates in graphics and hardware it would be just freakin awesome this time around. And before anyone can say Vegas, shut yo mouf. That game is whack. Not sure why they even called it Rainbow Six, should have called it Rainbow Bright that how soft that game is compared to the original Rainbow Six or just about any of the others pre-RVS

I feel like reinstalling Rainbow Six: Raven Shield because of you... that game was so awesome and a real challenge on the hardest difficulty. The same gameplay with updated graphics and new maps would mean an instant pre-order for me .

I say they make a WWII game that Focuses Deep within the 101st Airborne Easy Company. Like the HBO series "Band of Brothers". Now THAT would be a MoH game I would play.

The original Call of Duty basically follows what Easy Company does... Several of the maps looks exactly the same as part of Band of Brothers, easily seen by the Carentan map in both single and multiplayer.

    First video of it:

It looks like maybe 1 real shot from in game, with real iron sights, so may be pretty interesting. Looks better than COD. Time will tell. And be sure to hit the watch in HD button.

Trailer doesn't blow me away but it sure looks like it has potential. Hopefully we 'll get some more info soon... especially about MP features.

Apparently it's all in-game footage... I'm not sure if that's good or bad.
