Yikes, the animations look terrible if you ask me.... and something about the M4 model looks odd..... still, time will tell.

Re: EA Reinvents Franchise with New Development Teams, New Soldier, New Setting
I do not know who you are, but I have a feeling that if I met you in real life we wouldn't get along very well. It may be that you have a very direct and insensitive way of expressing a point, it may be that English isn't your first language, and it may be that you have difficulty imagining that war, and the soldiers who fight it are separate entities, but how dare you say there is no honor when soldiers die for their country. I will not go on and attempt to justify any conflict we are engaged in, but that statement you just made put me into automatic reply mode. I want to type an enormous response right now, but I feel it would be over kill and uncalled for based on the emotional response I am having. The men who died next to me, from several countries other than the United States as well, were all honorable men, regardless of their attitude and or.....I am going to stop right there. This is a thread about a game, not politics.
Al, you are entitled to your opinion, you are entitled to your right to speech and the freedom to express it on this forum, but I am also entitled to think that that statement was touching on something that is very delicate to some people.
And Gill, I know how you feel.Last edited by Dimitrius; 12-14-2009 at 11:13 AM. Reason: punctuation.

I'm suspicious it will be be built for the consoles and support 9v9 players. I love l4d2 and small tight team games, but we are overdue from some epic Tactical Gamer 48 or 64p games like BF2 in its heyday.

Looks interesting, these guys keep pushing the limits on game development, emotions and morality. I'm always impressed how programmers can be so artistic and innovative. Can't wait to check it out. You can count on me to be head hunting Undead if has a decent multiplayer setup...

Has anyone seen the National Geographic Channel's interview/tv crew embedded episode with the Green Berets? If you can try and find it and watch it, when I immediately saw the picture even without reading anything about the story line I thought of the Green Berets in Afghanistan.

Re: EA Reinvents Franchise with New Development Teams, New Soldier, New Setting
Someone delete my post in this thread here plz. I stand by what I wrote, but it was perhaps a little off topic, although it related to why I don't like the direction of the franchise. I am getting sick and tired though of the stream of comments I am getting.
If you want to discuss it with me, I'm open to it. If you just want to let me know you don't like my post, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. It's an old post and I didn't post again about it because further discussion belongs in the sandbox.
I left it to die in this thread so plz leave me ALONE.What it's like to play online games as a grown-up:http://s3.amazonaws.com/theoatmeal-i...e_gaming/1.jpg
