Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award (changed thread)
Sorry, I didn't know where this should go, but this is apparently the place...
*I don't know who I would nominate a Golden Lemming to, but to whomever it may concern: I think Root deserves the little guy for his Avatar. He is one of the most *clears throat* "Involved"... admins on the servers, and he is a great TG player. Recently, on Piranesi, we were Terrorists and I managed to get to Bombsite A with Root being the "body armor" he always talks about for the bomber, and when I beging to plant, he stands right in front of me and gets shot from about 3 different people, giving me just enough time to finish arming the bomb (I ended up dying anyway, but the fact that he caught all of those bullets was good enough for me). Needless to say, Root takes command of his team and, though they may not win every time, if they don't, Root is landmining all the people that don't deserve the Golden Lemming who are keeping the team from their win.
Cheers to you Root! You'll always be a lemming in my book... err... something like that... :-)*

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
I second Root for The Golden Lemming.
Root is like some kind of Super Crate, always between the bomber and the other team, it's uncanny. I think he's magical.

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Because we have no objections and several supporting stories of selfless lemminghood, I have little authority, but what little authority I have has motivated to bequeath upon Root, the cookietester himself, the title of Golden Lemming. If whoever reads this is actually the one that is supposed to make this decision, I take full responsibility for the presence of the lemming in Root's posts, but if no one has a problem with it, then Root, happily represent the sign of those that die for the cause... *insert angelic music*... THE GOLDEN LEMMING....

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Hey, i was on Contra, and azzman and me left, hes up high at a, im down low by crates. bomb is ticking. I realized that if i didnt start defusing then, i wouldnt be able to win even if i killed him. I stood over the bomb, and started defusing. I... I HEARD him draw his knife, yet i did nothing. I HEARD him jump to the ground, yet my finger stayed firmly pressed on the mousebutton. And I felt his knife slide into my already bloodied skin, as my soul flew away, me a martyr. I hereby nominate myself for a lemming B)

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
[Thread resurrection]
I would like to nominate Mateo for the Golden Lemming Award. No matter how the situation plays out he just manages to always die first no matter whether on defense or offense, nobody knows how but he is just a super bullet magnet.

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Mateo certainly deserves to own copyright on the phrase "first to die"
I know hardly anyone ended up earning a lemming, but any chance of a ribbon? Just makes it easier to fit into some of our sigs than another image.
