The TG Golden Lemming Award
Introducing...
The Tactical Gamer Golden Lemming Award
The TG Golden Lemming is presented to individuals who display a complete lack of self-preservation in the name of the greater good of the team.
Our first recipient of the TG Golden Lemming is J-Rod for his utterly suicidal performance with absolutely no regard for his own life or limb last week in Joint Operations. Congrats to JRod!
Want to earn a Golden Lemming? Observe someone performing in a manner that is deserving of a Lemming to call their own? Post your nominations along with a description of the event that led to the nomination in this thread. Awards will be granted to decidedly deserving individuals.
Award winners, please include the following smaller Golden Lemming in your signature, for all to see:

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Hmmm, interesting award, I like it. Maybe it will encourage some psychotic players to do some off the wall stuff, in the name of teamwork.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Now that you meantion it, it DOES look like the worms gun.... But i still think it looks more like a fair dryer... or a heat gun.... or a magic chef salad shreder?!?! okay, back to tv.

Nope. I remember seeing my ex-girlfriend's dad play it back in 1991 or 1992, but I've never played it...

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
If I dont get nominated for this I will scream. I cant even count how many times I've leaped over three skulks, past six OC's and taken a hit from a fade in order to pummel a hive with 8 shotgun blasts in NS before being ripped to shreads.

Re: The TG Golden Lemming Award
Let me hijack this for some social commentary: You guys do know that lemmings are not actually suicidal in any way and that Disney should burn in Hell, right?
Anyways, I fully endorse this award and wish I had a demo of the two CTs that selflessly threw their bodies in the way of the last remaining Terrorist on de_dust2 taking AK round after AK round to the chest so I could disarm the bomb. Fear not nameless soldiers, for although your names escape me: I salute you.
PS: I got mad points for that difuse.
