Battlefield 2 Demo Release
I know many of you are anxiously awaiting the release of the Battlefield 2 Demo. It was originally rumored to be released today at 1500 EDT through the GameSpot network.
After doing some research and verifying with an EA Representative, as of 0640 EDT this morning it was uncertain if the demo would meet the June 10th release date. The demo is currently pending final testing before release and *MAY* not be released until June 11th.
The initial release WILL take place on the GameSpot network and is an exclusive release for the first 24 hours. After that the demo will be available through all of the normal channels such as 3D Gamers and Fileplanet.
It is still very much up in the air right now. I will be monitoring the appropriate IRC, TeamSpeak and Forum channels as well as the GameSpot network for any updates. As soon as I get any information I will be sure to post it here.
