Friday, the 10th of June was a big day for Tactical Gamer. The Battlefield 2 demo was released and has given us a taste of what is to come when the full game is released in just over a week. Battlefield 2 has already brought players from all sides of Tactical Gamer together and has set the stage for Tactical Gamer to become a dominant player in the greater Battlefield 2 community.

To help get us off on the right foot, Tempus has been promoted as the new Battlefield Game Officer. We have a lot of work to do to get our players trained in proper chain of command, communications structure and the overall dynamics of Battlefield 2 and Tempus will be leading this charge.

Tempus has been with Tactical Gamer for quite a long time and has proven to be a solid team player with a firm grasp of what we expect in regards to team play, tactics and strategy. I urge all of you to work with Tempus in the upcoming weeks to make the Battlefield 2 experience the best it can possibly be.

In my time at TG, and in my many leadership roles, official and personal, I have OFTEN and silently looked to leadership from Tempus (in either word or act) to help me understand what's important and what's not, who's real and who's not, and generally how to best carry myself in a manner that helps this place grow.. really GROW.

Tempus is among TG's selfless greats, and it will show in how he manages BF2.

Congratulations to Tempus! And congratulations to TG's new BF2 playerbase, as they've just landed a prize greater than they may know!

This is gonna be fun as hell!

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Battlefield 2 is an exciting game and represents an exciting future here at TG. It is a game that represents what TG is all about -- Teamwork.
