Battlefield 2 Special Forces
Battlefield 2 Special Forces is a mere 11 hours from release. There have been a large number of thread posted regarding Tactical Gamer's plan for the new Special Forces expansion. We have had some discussions and have a final conclusion for you all regarding this new expansion.
Tactical Gamer WILL be hosting the new Special Forces expansion. Our flagship Battlefield 2 Server (Server #1) will remain with the standard Battlefield 2 release and Server #2 will be upgraded to support the new Specal Forces expansion. We are certainly concerned about fracturing the community with the release of the expansion, but after numerous conversations it has been determined that the SF expansion offers a different type of gameplay that is not found with Battlefield 2 and will provide a more infantry-rich experience for players focused on that aspect of the game.
We will be converting Server #2 over to the SF mod as soon as it becomes available to us and an announcement will be made as soon as the upgrade is complete.
