There’s a lot to announce today! Look sharp!

Kormendi will be stepping down as the Game Officer for Dystopia. He’s done a phenomenal job so far getting this title off the ground, but needs to take a break due to that wonderful thing we like to call “real life”. TheFenix will be stepping up as the new Dystopia Game Officer and will be able to take over where Kormendi has left off. Dystopia is a relatively new game to Tactical Gamer but has a lot of potential. We look forward to seeing what the future holds with TheFenix at the helm. Best of luck to TheFenix in his new role here at Tactical Gamer!

Wyzcrak is also stepping down from his administrative roles at Tactical Gamer. He will be stepping down for personal reasons after a VERY long stint as a Game Officer, game admin, and a ton of great contributions to Tactical Gamer under his belt. You will now be able to shoot him in the face in a wide variety of games without worrying about getting kicked! Taking his place as the Game Officer for Natural Selection is our very own Pokerface. Pokerface has been a very valuable member of our community and has done great work helping both the HLDS and Source engine admin teams with custom modifications and tools as well as a key developer in the custom plug-ins and modifications we use for Battlefield 2. Congratulations to Pokerface for his new promotion!

In other news, our very own Mateo will be stepping down as the Game Officer for SWAT 4 and refocusing his efforts on Operation Flashpoint. As you may or may not know, we will be seeing a “sequel” to Operation Flashpoint in the very near future. This new release is titled Armed Assault. Mateo will continue on as the Game Officer for Armed Assault after its release. Armed Assault will play a very important role here at Tactical Gamer once it is released and we are excited to give Mateo the opportunity to make the most of this new title.

As you may be aware, Tactical Gamer has been getting more involved in various MMO (Mass Multiplayer Online) style games including World of Warcraft, EVE Online and now Dungeons & Dragons online. While these tend to work quite differently in terms of admin structure than our FPS variety of games, we still have some important announcements to make. Wulfyn has replaced me as the CEO of the Tactical Enterprise Group, LTD. Corporation in EVE Online. I’ve had less and less time to devote to my duties in that game so I have stepped down and put Wulfyn in charge of TEGL. In the Dungeons & Dragons Online front, P8riot has taken the lead as the Guild Admin. He has been working hard to build up the guild and a solid cadre of D&DO players. Finally, in World of Warcraft, Luna has stepped down after a year of service as the Guild Administrator and Orion (known as Crebis in WoW-land) has stepped up and taken over that position. Congratulations to Wulfyn, P8riot and Orion for your promotions in our MMO segment of the community!

Please join me in thanking Wyzcrak, Kormendi and Luna for everything they have done for Tactical Gamer and congratulating Pokerface, TheFenix, Mateo, Orion, Wulfyn and P8riot in their new roles in our community!

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.

Thank you for all your hard work Apophis. There sure has been a lot of activity here as of late and I am proud and fortunate to have the opportunity to contribute all I can as a Guild Administrator in the TacticalGamer Community.

Dungeons and Dragons Online is on track to keep it's promises of creating a rich, exciting, and dynamic environment full of involved and long-term gameplay in an environment that can only fully experienced when working together as a team.

After all of that - there is still more to come as we work our way through all that the online gaming industry thinks they can creatively challenge us with. I look forward to working through the challenges together with our Members, Guild Administrators, and Game Officers. Oh, and yes.. even you too Apophis .
