Shows you a small clip with and without, is it worth the difference for another 300 dollar piece of hardware? I'd say no until more games are supported, alot more... kinda reminds me of the old Voodoo Monster 3D card that daisy chained off of your regular card, (man I loved that card.)

Lucky for me, My editor in chief over at SimHQ is in talks with the developers to get 2 cards free,

One for the hardware editor, and one for me to report on the game side of the card... I can only hope, but if not oh well.

$600 state of the art video card + $300 for a PhysX card = pretty pictures, but no better game play...

Now if they made a card to improve enemy and friendly AI by 100's of percent, then I'd be there.

JMO
Not worth it. Effects aren't 10x better. Which is what I would expect paying that kind of money.

I used to have one of those original Voodoo Monster 3D cards too. After that I went with dual Monster2 cards in SLI mode. (And people think SLI is something new...)

As for the PhysX card. I am also working with both Ageia and their marketing company to do an evaluation/review of their product. The marketing company is expecting another shipment from Ageia next week and I'm on the list for an eval.

Just watched those demos a few times. Interesting that even with the physics card, the debris still disappears shortly after the explosion. Still, there is a considerable difference in the amount of debris involved in each explosion.

It'll be interesting to see an in depth look.
