Re: Tactical Gamer Weekly News: Cinco De Mayo Edition
I'd like to see HLTV Sessions left in this posting. They continue every Saturday night, and all remain invited.
( and Wii isn't a stupid name. )

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Zephyr: Apophis is clearly a highly sophisticated self-aware AI construct that runs on a highly modified toaster oven in Wyzcrak's basement.

Re: Tactical Gamer Weekly News: Cinco De Mayo Edition
I thought it was a brilliant marketing move. It's bigger than some folks understand.

Yes, it is.
Everyone else gets a butch name: "Can I get the PS3 version? Do you have Madden for the 360?"
Now, contrast that with Nintendo: "Can I get Resident Evil for Wii?"
Let's make Nintendo seem even more "kid-y"!
Then again, they are doing well financially, so they must be doing something right.
And as for HLTV, I'm more than willing to include anything that happens around here, I just need a heads up before Thursday.

That's my fault. The HLTV sessions happen weekly, but I didn't make a list for last week's recurring events to contribute to the weekly news post. I've gotta make doing that a part of my routine.
