Natural Selection Turns 3.2 (or 22.4 in Dog Versions)

Tonight at 7pm Eastern (4pm Pacific), the Natural Selection development team is slated to release the final version of NS 3.2 (according to the Natural Selection game site).

As always, Tactical Gamer will be your place for top-notch Natural Selection gaming. Our servers will be converted as soon as feasible, meaning that your gaming experience may be interrupted in order to update the server files.

We have been given permission to open the client download for Supporting Members 15 minutes before the actual release time. So not only will SMs get it fast, they'll get it early.

As with every upgrade, not everything may work as it typically does, and we encourage the community to report any issues here in the fora so that we can find them and squash them.

As of the time of this writing, the changelog goes as follows:

It's less about requesting the files and more about having the time to set them up.

And according to this site, the actual age in dog years is 25.8. The editors regret this error.

Re: Natural Selection Turns 3.2 (or 22.4 in Dog Versions)

Thank you, Poker, for getting this file hosted on TG's downloads so quickly. Great value for me.

I got home late from a very busy day at work, and being able to sit down, begin the download from our Downloads section immediately (no hunting for mirrors; no waiting), and have a 150MB game download pulled down and installed in less than 10 minutes is, frankly, awesome.

The fact that the NS team gave it to us early is just icing on the cake.

Darkilla: In short, NS is pretty much really fast chess. With guns. Apophis: I haven't seen anyone say that SM's are better than non-SMs. Nordbomber: This is THE first server I've seen where either side can comeback from out of seemingly nowhere with the right teamwork. en4rcment: I have NEVER experienced the type of gameplay that I have found here. Nightly I am amazed at the personalities and gaming talent. Root: Welcome to TG. Feel free to punctuate your sentences correctly. Monkerz: Its gonna take all my skills to beat those boys off in the future.
