After much deliberation, Root has chosen to step down as the Game Officer for Counter-Strike Source. Root has been with us for some time and has taken some excellent steps to clean up the gameplay within the Counter-Strike environment here at Tactical Gamer. I would like to thank Root for his excellent service and momentum he brought to Counter-Strike. We couldn’t have made it to where we are if it wasn’t for his efforts and leadership within the Counter-Strike admin team. Fear not, Root isn’t disappearing from the community, but rather focusing on other projects he has gotten involved with that will benefit the entire community.

With that being said, I would like to take a moment to introduce and congratulate Vulcan, our new Game Officer for Counter-Strike Source. Vulcan has been with Tactical Gamer for several years now and has been a positive contributor to every aspect of the community he’s gotten involved with. Vulcan started out in the classic FPS era of Doom and Quake and has worked his way through just about every aspect of gaming there is today. We look forward to what Vulcan will bring to the Counter-Strike Source segment of our community.

Please take a moment to both thank Root for his dedicated service and to welcome Vulcan on as the new Game Officer.
