Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
Looks nice. Good categorizing and slightly easier to navigate (although it's going to take me a bit to adjust to the new format).

Thanks for the warning, Apo.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
tg primer - federal
game primer - state
admin rule - local
I'd definitely agree that not all games can operate under the same backbone, so widening the TG primer and creating more specific game primers is definitely the way to go.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
This is great news, historically I've been a much bigger fan of the "Entertainment" games than the simulation ones, unfortunately those games have also had a far less mature audience. I'm really looking forward to playing games like ET:QW, TF2 and others with the same expectations regarding maturity and teamwork that TGers employ in other games - even if the gameplay is different.

Some TG Woodland Camo underwear wouldnt be a bad idea. heheh ".... for mature gamers"
hey Sharabeth!! You could make TG- WoW cookies! (surprisingly, those would probably make a helluva lotta money in the games stores)

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
I think adding the different primers for different types of games will be a great benefit to those who do a lot of cross gaming. I enjoy POE2 for completely different reasons than I enjoy ArmA. I take a very different approach to playing either. So many players see familiar faces in a different game and hop one without delving into the philosophy on the forums. Having a convenient place to point players will go a long way to avoiding headaches created from misunderstandings about gaming style.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
Good change. Also, it still works with the name too. If it had been SimulationGamer.com, I think the change would be a bit more difficult. I enjoy the tactics and teamwork quite a bit more than the simulation aspect (except Arma, I like that quite a bit).
Thanks for the hard work.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
Will I might be late but I say LONG LIVE BF2 / POE: Apophis I really thought any game played on a TG server was already under this type of ruling but its good to see it going that way if not. Continuity is important as you cross game within the TG servers on rules but they should also allow the game to be played as it’s designed. Not to confuse any thing but I read all of this and got kind of lost.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
Excellent ideas and a good plan to grow as the gaming community changes. As I branch out into other games from BF2142 (game under which I "found" TG) I'm glad that I can stay with the community and the general rules for gameplay in other games.

Re: Changes coming to Tactical Gamer
The categorization is done. I'm still working on the primer rewrites though. Another few days and they will be done.
