Re: TGU class for COD4?
I'm really interested in ftl and sl training for CoD4. There has been a push lately to improve the tactical gameplay and I believe if we have more qualified sl's and more people working to establish chain of command that we can elevate the quality of the play across this title.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
None, I have no players in TGU that can run a class for CoD4. I need someone to step up and design a course or 2 and run them. If someone is willing to put in the work, I'll let them board up with TGU.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
I dont think so. If you really want to get good you should watch a good gamers replay or in person. There a subtle ways to run, move, and act in certain situations. Replays really help me.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
I tend to learn by watching others play but, not everyone learns the same way. I think there should be at least a course teaching players how to be more tactical instead of going with the usual run and gun style of play. Like how to move quietly and effectively across a map or how to use teamwork to clear out a building. A class for CoD4 would be of great benefit to the | TG| community in my mind.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
I can assist with House with sniper and counter-sniper techniques. ALready working on a class for this one...
And here are some things I know how to do very well and can teach:
- Movement to contact
- Bounding Over-watch
- Room clearing
- Sectors of fire employment for defense and offensive operations
- Weapon engagements and tracking
- Cover and concealment in regards to movement
Any thoughts?

Re: TGU class for COD4?
Bring it on I'll take the class. Throw some TG basics in there too.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
we have had 3 modules already for CoD4, more to come on the way, but i think they will only be open to the original attendees because of the nature of the classes, i.e. advanced tactics.

Ty G-House for the response Dam sorry I missed those modules although I have 350++ hours in game with COD4 I'm new here @ TG. The TG concept is the way these games are meant to be played. IMHO. At least if what I'm reading pans out. So I think I should start with basics first as you suggest and I believe that's one of the rules too. I wish there was some way to catch up!!
I've asked for a mentor as well for either COD4 or BF2. In all those hours I've yet to hear or speak to anyone in game. All peeps care about is there own score instead of reaching a goal or playing as a team.
The short of it I need a little orientation on the TG way.

Re: TGU class for COD4?
If classes are requested and enough people sign-up the basic module can be repeated.
