I haven't taken the Basic Infantry class yet, Can I go to this other class?
Yes and No. You may sign up for any basic class no matter what classes you have or have not taken. Although, in the rare chance that all supporting members that have passed basic and show up for thier class seats. The priority will goto them.

Can I attend the advanced classes to?
Only if you passed the required basic prerequisite course

Can I wear that badge of my class if I haven't passed Basic Infantry.
No. You need to sign up or request a write off.

How do I get a write off?
You PM you game's instructor. They'll give you the details of a write off and what needs to be done. This isn't a intsant process.

Does Basic Infantry carry over to other sponced games
Yes, Basic is mostly theory and not based of any games phyics.

Do other classes carry over
Depends on the 2 games and contrast of tactics.
