Re: TGU Scrim Roster
Good work Acid. Let's see how we can organize the TGU practices based on these times. Unfortunately it looks like half of those players who can make the Saturday practice time are on opposing team. First let's break that down by team as well:
As far as I can tell, troublesome, shafik, and whiskey are our Ukrainian rostered TGU personnel. Would Shafik and Whiskey want to fold the unaffiliated members,
1. Barracuda Magoo
2. Squinty
3. kusogaki
4. cptCuervo
into the 12th and run it as a TGU squad? Troublesome could be an alternate that practices with them, and could join either the 7th or the 12th/TGU squad in the match.
Otherwise I would nominate troublesome to take the lead. Hold a practice and such like we discussed. Lead the squad in the match since you seem to be more available at the moment than Whiskey and Shafik. You can see from Acid's schedule that Saturday appears to be the obvious choice if you can make it.
The leaves the remaining for Germany:
Me and FreekyE are the only instructors I think but there are a LOT of bootcamp friendly players in the squads and the_khan and ust@m unaffiliated. So possibly we should run a specialty TGU squad for the match with the limited unaffiliated players we have. And for the practice open it up to everyone interested and see what happens. I'm not really sure how to draw up a practice for a few members from each different squad. Obviously what we practice can't supersede what the squad has planned. Maybe we can use it for team-building and establish a TGU rep in each squad for the match and spend the practice on communications and coordinating simultaneous multiple squad attacks. Use the TGU embed in each squad on a TGU TS channel of their own to promote inter-squad coordination at a level of precision greater than what a CO is free to do. Lemme hear your ideas because I think we can do better than this.
So in conclusion I think UKR could practice with the following people for a TGU squad in game:
troublesome4u (7th)
Whiskeysix (12th)
shafik (12th)
Barracuda_Magoo
cpt cuervo
squinty
kusogaki
with:
Backlash-7(5th)
pjaronex(5th)
...as possible TGU-sympathizers who will likely also be interested.
For Germany:
TGU Squad
Abra (7th)
FreekyE (5th)
tha_khan
Ust@m
TGU Sympathizers
Rookie420
Drizzid (12th)
Bodofooko (12th)
Rocketpunch (5th)
Marstein (5th)
SGT_YORK (5th)
Dick Blonov (Irr)
Calvin (Irr)
Sajier (Irr)
These are the people we need to nail down and compile practice times and interest from.Last edited by ABRA; 11-10-2006 at 06:13 PM.

Re: TGU Scrim Roster
yeah - that's the reason Shafik and I are on UKR... to run a TGU squad!
(a fairly lethal TGU squad at that, given those SM's
)

Re: TGU Scrim Roster
I'm still trying to get some more new faces signing up for the scrim but so far they aren't biting. :/

Re: TGU Scrim Roster
Since the CO's will have their own agenda of what they need the TGU squads to do, it would be best for the squads to practice on general areas, like communicating effectively, learning to fight using your other squad members to your advantage, bounding overwatch, and general defense/attacking points.
As for raising more TGU intrest for the scrim, post up an intrest thread in the tacticalconflict team forums you are a part of.
I will send a mass PM to the members intrested or people we don't have practice times from.

Re: TGU Scrim Roster
WhiskeySix, I need you to start posting the Ukraine forum to organize this TGU squad of yours. Need to get RSVPs so we can schedule the practice sooner rather than later. I don't want you guys to be burdened with organized the practice time logistically next week while you are designing the practice's content in response to any CO plans we can expect soon(if the old days of TG scrimming are any indication which they may not be).

Re: TGU Scrim Roster
Details/responsibilities have been split up as follows (correct me if I'm wrong):
German head:
ABRA
German SL:
?
Ukraine head:
Acid
Ukraine SL:
WhiskeySix
Whiskey seems to have his squad going and set up, so things are rolling on the Ukr side. I set up an intrest thread a few days ago, but it hasn't gotten anywhere, at least not yet. I forwarded the appropriate PM's to ABRA that I got back from the German intrested members.
