Lesson Suggestions
If you have a lesson or part of a game that you would like taught, please tell us what it is! We can only make TGU better with input from our students, so please tell us what you would like to learn about and we will do our best to meet those suggestions. For example: "I don't understand the CO screen, could you teach a lesson on being the CO?" or "I really want to learn how to be a better PR medic."
Suggestions:
Battlefield 2142 / Northern Strike- Gunship Piloting
- Gunship Gunning (together with piloting, and the two operating as one)
- Using the SAAW AA eng weapon
- Pilot countermeasures to the SAAW
Project Reality Mod- Advanced helo module, including troop insertion, good landing locations, wooded (tight areas) and mountain landing

Re: Lesson Suggestions
I have suggestions for the next 2142 TGU:
*Gunship Piloting
*Gunship Gunning (together with piloting, and the two operating as one)
*Using the SAAW AA eng weapon
*Pilot countermeasures to the SAAW
I'm focusing on piloting b/c something that the unlock weekend taught me was how vulnerable a good pilot is to a noob toting the SAAW. That sucker is DEADLY to aircraft. You can know where the AA very easilly, the walkers if you are alert, but infantry with the SAAW are HARD to see.
Also, a module on Assault/Medic use of the defib would be awesome: I've heard others say its needed. I know that I'm a good medic and thereby volunteer to teach that module.

I would imagine the PR helo module could be easily adapted. Unless 2142 helos have built in aimbots, are self steering and come with forcefields and rocket engines as standard.
Did anyone notice that DB has a vase? I'm pretty sure he meant vays.

Re: Lesson Suggestions
Project Reality Mod
I'd like to see if you guys would do an advanced chopper pilot (UH-60, Littlebird) training.
-Troop insertion
-Good Locations
-Wooded (tight areas) Q. River, Operation Ghost Train
-Mountains
And any other more advanced things you deem necessary to excelling chopper skills in the battlefield.
A weekend training session if possible.

Re: Lesson Suggestions
When we re-open, the 160th should have an advanced helo module worked up.

We're also adding something a little nasty to the flight exam.

Re: Lesson Suggestions
Project Reality Mod
I was just on a server with Colt45 on the Muttrah City map. I was landing little birds in the pool at Hotel by coming in from the East side. The pool is more that big enough for a little bird. The Blackhawk on the other hand is another story. I’ve tried several times to get it in there but I don’t think it will fit. I’m going to try it again when I have more time.

Re: Lesson Suggestions
well, if Sandbox 2142 was out now, we could make a gunship obstacle course... but no, Elxx has to be working on Battleracer 2142..
Suggestion:
PR MOD: More heli training, Infantry mobilization

Have a look at the first post in this thread, and some of the other threads in this forum.
