Because someone couldnt make it I got room to stay. Lucky shot

Also, what could I've done at 2:30am other than have TGU session. :P

Time was pretty late but heck, it was worth it and it was on weekend.

You guys were a great class. I hope all walked away with something new to take back to your squads.

Remember to practice. Even if your squad doesn't. But always keep on the focus of teamwork and realisum and don't lose your focus.

Found this from surfing around the TGU forum. I don't know how many modules there will be know, but you probably have to complete most of them.

I also noticed that we didn't take a class photo, that would have been cool. I guess next time. Great class.

I'm pretty sure I remember Waffle posting somewhere that this new Basic Infantry Module is a combination of the old Modules 1-5. Obviously wait for his or Eroak's confirmation on this before you go wearing your new badges though.

that would be cool. When I was looking at the wiki it did seem that we covered most of what was in those modules but not all. Probably have to complete the basic and advanced classes now to get the ribbon, I'm guessing.

The current Basic Infantry Class is indeed taking the place of the old 5 module set. The old style modules also took 2 hours to complete over two one hour periods (1/2/3 and 4/5.) The new curriculum setup, while requires a larger time chunk at once, has the advantage of being completed at once so we don't have to keep track of partial credits and students don't have to wait for the section that they need to be scheduled.

The Basic Infantry module may also be required to be completed for attendance in more advanced classes (such as Basic and Advanced Kit specific classes, Armor, Flight, etc.) More information about these will come later in the future after we have run more Basic Infantry Classes.

I was holding off on answering your questions, because I wanted to be sure and surprise you with your awards.
