Depends on the format, but I am going to try hard to limit it to under 2hours... I think a good target should be in the one to one and a half hours.

Remember, there's nothing set in stone. If you can only play for X amount of time, just make sure you have a ringer. Or, you can split the maps up among different days.

Yea, back in the vCod days, scrims could take from 15 minutes to 2+ hours, but most ended up being about an hour. I was just looking for a rough estimate, so I have plenty of flex time.

Re: TG vs TFR #2: Setup/Discussion
Can we figure out a time to practice or go over strategies before?

Re: TG vs TFR #2: Setup/Discussion
Can we re-open the old server for a night for that purpose? That would give us a private place to voice-chat and field test strategies one night without interrupting the public server, which seems to die for a week every time anything interrupts it.

Yea, that seems like a solution, if viable, would be really helpful.

Re: TG vs TFR #2: Setup/Discussion
Ok, Apophis was happy to let us run a second instance of TF2 for match purposes. This server will be offline during "normal business hours." I'm copying some files and cutting out any extraneous configs (no admin mods, etc).
It will be on the same IP, but I'll set it up to use port 27017 (or something along those lines).

Re: TG vs TFR #2: Setup/Discussion
So we'll be running it on Core #4?

Re: TG vs TFR #2: Setup/Discussion
I mapped it to core 2 (remember, CPUs start with 0) whereas the main server is mapped to core 3. Considering we're using all of 6-10% of the core we're on when under load and CoD4 seems to actually use less than that under load: I don't think we'll have any issues. Bubba has not reported anything with TF2 jacking his servers up.
