Thanks for another night of excellent games, folks. Dustbowl and Turbine were tight, and we started to get a feel for Schwa's Circlejerk after a few initial rounds of uncertainty on that map. I'm looking forward to more....

Yea, that was my bad at cutting that dustbowl round short. I was watching from STV and it looked pretty intense. I did the command "admin_map" rather than "admin_nextmap" for circlejerk.

I was able to scream "Nooooo!" at the screen before it changed the map though. That should count for something.

Definitely lots of fun. And circlejerk can be a fun map, indeed.

Strag, you a damn good demoman.

Once, a long long time ago...

I found myself on the receiving end of a long-distance enemy intelligence pass from one "Master Dan Marino." This young gentleman had recently escaped from the so called "Base of Redd", which I have heard to be a most terrible place. He was, I recall, complaining about the recent effects his alchoholic illness had had on public opinion. The local citizenry were, unfortunately, now viewing him as a monster; no better was he than the schizophrenic or child-lover. The sheer anger with which he was able to charge this, his shot of shots, propelled the suit-case far beyond my meager range, and into the face of a nearby bat-boy.

I have never in my life witnessed a horror such as this.

The metal seal of the suit-case fractured this lowly bat-boy's bottom jaw. His eyes rolled to the sky with a short "oomph" sound as the bottom part of his face began to depress from the shocked expression present on the rest of his skull. All men present would hear the shattering of the bat-boy's nose, and the slurp-ing sound the cartilage made as it crushed what little was left of his frontal lobe after the impact.

Both allies and foes alike were crushed at this sight of infinite sadness, the cutting down of a young bat-boy in his prime. Not daunted, however, was the secret agent of the Clan of Redd, Mr. Magna Centipede. With a short grunt, he threw off his petty disguise, exposed his glimmering blade of death, and plunged it into Master Dan Marino's back-side. The area was drowned into infinite silence as Mr. Centipede moved with a swiftness that only the natives of the New World were thought to be able to achieve.

As Master Dan Marino slumped to the ground, eyes rolling up to gaze on the heavenly beyond, the only sound that our shocked ears received was the sly whisper of Mr. Centipede- "I never really was on your side."
